Congratulations to 2012 Seed Grant Awardees
The Food Innovation Center is pleased to announce and congratulate the cross-college teams selected for Seed Grant Awards for 2012–2013. Nearly $275,000 was awarded in total seed grant funds to the eleven interdisciplinary teams through one-year awards of up to $25,000 each. FIC seed funding supports team approaches that lead to competitive extramural grants and ultimately improve lives through adequate, safe, health-promoting food. A minimum of two Center faculty members from at least two Ohio State colleges comprise each team. Across the eleven awards, 39 FIC members from nine colleges and one school are addressing food challenges through transdisciplinary work that links experts across campus and beyond.
