I am a connector. On a daily basis I work with Farmers, City Officials, Professors, Students, NPOs, Chefs and Entrepreneurs.
Over the past three years I have been able to utilize my restaurants as platforms for social change. The Crest Gastropub has won Greenest business in the City and received national recognition for its sustainability initiatives, sourcing and green infrastructure.
In addition I teach, sit on the Board of CEDCO & Columbus Growing collective, and a advise a handful of other food related projects within columbus.
Although much of my work has been done on a local scale my next goal is to become more involved globally. I was recently selected to represent the United States as Slow Food Delegate in Turin, Italy.
