Currently, I am a doctoral student in City and Regional Planning specializing in planning for sustainable management of food waste throughout the food system. In addition, I work in the Division of Materials and Waste Management of Ohio EPA, where I coordinate statewide efforts for food waste recovery. I led revisions to Ohio's composting regulations to promote sustainable agriculture and reduce food insecurity. Recently collaborated with Dr. Jennifer Evans-Cowley in the preparation a food systems plan for the Mississippi gulf region that incorporated food waste diversion. My goal is to achieve environmental protection through safe and sustainable food production.
