I give leadership to the Family and Consumer Sciences program of OSU Extension and have broad expereince in extension, university wide outreach and engagement and collaboration building.  Therefore, I can assist in integrating the "broader impact" or extension outreach and engagement function into future funding proposals.  This could range from outreach education to collaborating with local Extension educators in communities around policy issues that impact nutrition and food security.
