The focus of my research is motivated by seeking solutions to spatial problems that would be better served by a diverse set of approaches and through the development of new perspectives and methodologies. By applying GIS and statistical methods to spatial and temporal data I seek to answer questions that arise from disparate fields of study. Specifically, I have developed several interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships with investigators from geography, economics, public health, social work, and plant pathology – including collaborations with Food Innovation Center affiliates. I intend to continue to contribute my skills for the advancement of food research at Ohio State.
