I have more than 15 years of experience in the area of medicine, molecular carcinogenesis and cancer chemoprevention. I have contacted extensive research in investigations of the mechanism(s) through which natural food products (i.e., black raspberries and strawberries) prevent esophageal cancer in a carcinogen-induced animal model and human clinical trials. By joining FIC, I will collaborate with other faculties on campus to develop effective chemoprevention of esophageal cancer with natural food products.
