I have a background in Food Science with a Ph.D. from University of California, Davis. My research career has centered on value-added application development of dairy proteins with a focus on films, coatings and packaging for food protection and safety. I also have experience building relationships with industrial partners throughout Ohio through my position as Research Scientist in the Ohio BioProducts Innovation Center.
