My research and outreach with the Agricultural Risk Analysis Program aims to improve management of risks on, and associated with the farm. Research and outreach are integrated so that we can provide growers with the best agricultural practices to reduce microbial contamination risks. Recent work includes formation of The OSUE Fruit and Vegetable Safety Team, and the development of a new extension curriculum that employs a risk assessment focus. In the past 4 years the Team has trained more than 2000 Ohio growers.
