Diabetes is a global issue as many of us witnessed at the Global Diabetes Summit on campus in November 2012. I can contribute to the mission of FIC by leading the Dining with Diabetes team across the state, introducing new and innovative teaching techniques for diabetes education, working with College of Nursing and other colleges to reach our regional campuses, and continuing to serve as Health Innovator. I'm excited for this opportunity to share our data and continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
