As a local public health professional, I believe my main contribution to the Food Innovation Center would be to help guide and develop research projects and/or community initiatives that produce tools or systems changes to improve the local food sytem -- and ultimately, the health of community residents. If successful, these tools or systems changes could be replicated to improve life quality on a larger, more global scale.
