I supervise The Gnotobiotic Life Laboratory of the University. We are involved in many studies involving food-borne infectious diseases of a zoonotic nature including most recently human noroviruses (Dr. J. Li) and virulence factors of Salmonella species (Dr. Alhmer). We collaborate with colleagues that are members of the Food Innovation Center including Drs. Li and Wang. Our expertise is in animal modelling, pathogenesis of infectious disease, pathology, immunology and virology.
