I am extremely interested in the benefits and effects of food on health and disease; I also am fascinated by food and nutrition effects on athletic performance. I would love to complete my Ph.D. research in an area that would help to further/expand upon the idea that exercise and food are/can be medicine. I believe the best way to contribute and to further the mission of the Food Innovation Center is through collaborative efforts.  Food is a necessity of life all should have a deep seated interest in ensuring that food is healthy, available, and sustainable.
