Local Matters is a leader in the movement to provide education and access to affordable, sustainable foods here in Central Ohio. We partner with dozens of organizations throughout the city and beyond to deliver our programs that each offer innovative, multi-disciplinary solutions to addresses issues of hunger and chronic disease in our communities. In this role, and in our role leading neighborhood food-planning processes throughout the city, we function as conveners of grassroots and city-wide efforts around healthful affordable foods, and can help bring diverse stakeholders to the work of the FIC.
