Areas of Expertise: obesity, comprehensive behavioral weight management, mindfulness and health behavior change, behavioral management of chronic illness/disease

I will contribute to the mission of the FIC through research (to contribute knowledge and inform clinical intervention) focused on behavioral changes regarding weight loss. More specifically, identifying and bringing awareness to barriers that inhibit behavior change and long term weight loss in overweight and obese individuals.  This includes all weight-loss relevant factors such as nutrition knowledge and eating behavior.
