All food production starts on the farm. The long-term goal of our research is to identify and develop cost-effective management practices that will promote animal health and welfare in dairy herds, improve milk quality and udder health, and enhance sustainability of the dairy industry. Identification of sustainable on-farm management practices that enhance animal health will enhance production of affordable and high quality food, in this case milk.
