I work with multi-disciplinary teams of professionals across the university and Ohio communities on health and nutrition-related research projects based in OSU Extension and the OSU College of Public Health. Collaborators have included faculty members in the colleges of Public Health, Nursing, Education and Human Ecology, and Medicine (CCTS), faculty from various OSU Extension program areas, and public health professionals. Applying community-based participatory research principles, I seek to include community members in determining priorities, developing and implementing program and research strategies, evaluating progress, disseminating results, and ultimately finding sustainable approaches to common food access and nutrition issues.
