As a graduate of Ohio State (M.S. 2013), member of the FIC funded Food Mapping Team, and directing entity within Franklinton Gardens (nonprofit urban farm in Columbus dedicated to ameliorating negative realities of low income food deserts through sustainable urban food production and local marketing efforts), I can contribute insight and collaboration from the level of a local grass roots organization; thus, offering the opportunity to focus FIC efforts within Central Ohio. I currently work with the FIC food mapping team by providing insight to the Franklinton neighborhood in regard to food access and assets mapping.
