My position as a research assistant, at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, allows me to work closely with many OSU faculty and staff whose research is focused on developing new fruit and vegetable crop production systems, agricultural practices, and crop cultivars. I will contribute to the mission of the FIC by providing direct assistance and/or advice to other members and principal investigators in the area of sustainable/organic fruit and vegetable crop production and by helping them, in their careers at Ohio State, to bridge the gaps between agricultural research, food security, and dietary health.
