Areas of Expertise: modifying milk composition, milk fatty acids, vitamins in milk, increasing milk protein concentrations
My main research areas are: effects of nutrition, specifically vitamins and trace minerals, on the health of dairy cows, energy metabolism of dairy cows, statistical and chemical evaluation of feedstuffs, and nutritional affects on milk composition. For this research I have obtained 2.5 million dollars in extramural funding.
