Primary Food Innovation Center Area: Biomedical Nutrition
Areas of Expertise: childhood obesity and colon cancer risk, exercise and diet intervention in cancer prevention, epigenetics and cancer

Understanding the impacts of childhood obesity on colon cancer risk could draw more attention from public on childhood obesity and cancer prevention. By exploring the mechanism in which exercise and diet intervention reduce colon cancer risk, we hope to emphasize the concept that eating less and exercising more will help prevent cancer. Our ultimate goal is to increase the awareness of following a healthy lifestyle.
