FIC Member Jill Clark Comments on Ohio's Food Desert Challenges

Columbus, Ohio – FIC member and assistant professor in the John Glenn School of Public Affairs, Jill Clark, was interviewed by the Zanesville Times Recorder for the article "Some Ohioans face challenges to healthful food access."

The article highlights Ohio's areas which are struggling with access to healthy foods due to food deserts. A 2012 study conducted by Clark and agricultural economist Francis Mulangu identify that although most public transportation have stops at grocery stores, 27.5 percent of households do not have access to a bus service route.
