Ohio State's Collaborative Efforts Provide Fresh Produce for Cancer Patients

Columbus, Ohio The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center–Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC–James) collaborated with the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences to provide the Garden of Hope as part of the JamesCare for Life program for cancer patients.

Cancer patients may freely use the community garden located on Ohio State's Waterman Farm to collect fresh herbs and a wide variety of vegetables throughout summer.  FIC Associate Director Steven Clinton comments on the significance of this project and the importance of adding fresh fruits and vegetables in our diet for anti-cancer benefits in the OnCampus article.
